Privacy
This site counts visits with its own analytics, run on this domain. It sets no cookies on your device and stores nothing in your browser.
When you load a page, the site records: the page, the website that sent you, a rough location (city and country, looked up from your IP address, which is then discarded and never stored), your device type and browser, your time zone, how long the page was open and active, how far you scrolled and how long each section was on screen.
To count unique visitors without cookies, the server keeps a one-way hash of your IP address and browser made with a salt that changes every day and is then deleted, so visits cannot be linked across days or traced back to you.
Some links I send personally contain a short name (?r=name) so I know whether that message was read. If you opened such a link, the visits from it are recorded under that name.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded.
Data is kept for 90 days and then deleted. It is never sold or shared, and only I can see it. The legal basis is legitimate interest (understanding which parts of my portfolio are useful). Cloudflare Web Analytics also measures page loads, without cookies.
Questions, or a request to see or delete data about you: message me on LinkedIn.
